Q: Why does NorthEast Foundation need more money?

A: CMC-NorthEast is a non-profit organization. Patient revenue covers the cost of daily operations, but does not cover new building expenses or new technology and equipment purchases. In order to provide quality healthcare for our growing community, your support is essential to increase facilities and technological advances for our increasing population. We appreciate our friends and neighbors and encourage you to give back to your own community!

Q: How do I become a member of NorthEast Foundation?

A: A charitable contribution entitles one to become a member of the NorthEast Foundation. Depending upon your Level of Giving, your membership will be categorized into one of four (4) categories.

Q: How much do I have to give?

A: A gift of any amount supports our efforts and is always welcome. No gift is too small or insignificant. We encourage students and classrooms to participate in our campaigns as well, as children may learn lessons of charity and compassion through giving.

Q: How do I make a donation?

A: You may contact us via phone, fax, or email to make a pledge. In addition, envelopes are available in our publications. We accept cash, personal checks, most major credit cards, as well as gifts of trusts and insurance. Read more about Ways to Give.

Q: How do I honor or memorialize someone?

A: Our Foundation staff can assist you in making a donation in honor or memory of a loved one. Often these gifts are given on special occasions - birthdays, anniversaries, or even in memorium upon death.

Q: Can I specify where my money goes?

A: Yes. The donor may designate how the gift is to be used and may also honor or memorialize another person with this gift. A gift may also establish an endowment which builds gifts for the future. If there is no designation of the gift, then the monies will be applied toward the current campaign or where there is greatest need.

Q: Is my donation tax deductible?

A: Every donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law and receipts are provided for your records. From cash donations to property, stocks, and bonds, charitable gifts may create a tax deduction and often a tax deferrment. You may contact our Foundation staff or a financial advisor for specific questions about your gift.

Q: What if my business would like to become a sponsor of a special event?
